WELCOME

Welcome to the website of First Baptist Church, Sequim, Washington!  I hope you find information that is helpful to you and that you consider joining us as we worship the Lord this coming Sunday morning at 10:45.  If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email.

There is a verse in the Bible (Philippians 3:8) which states:  “Everything is worthless when compared with the priceless gain of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.”  It is my hope and prayer that all of us at First Baptist Church come to know Christ more and help others do the same.  As the song “Knowing You” by Graham Kendrick says: Knowing You, Jesus, knowing You; there is no greater thing.  You’re my all, You’re the best, You’re my joy, my righteousness, and I love You, Lord.  As we grow closer to Christ, we become more like Him, and hopefully, more people are drawn to Him.

These words to the song “Let It Be Said of Us” by Steve Fry declare much of my heart’s desire for First Baptist Church, Sequim:  “Let it be said us that the Lord was our passion; that with gladness we bore every cross we were given; that we fought the good fight; that we finished the course, knowing within us the power of the risen Lord.  Let it be said of us we were marked by forgiveness.  We were known by our love and delighted in meekness.  We were ruled by His peace, heeding unity’s call, joined as one body that Christ would be seen by all.  Let the cross be our glory and the Lord be our song; by mercy made holy, by the Spirit made strong.   Let the cross be our glory and the Lord be our song; ‘til the likeness of Jesus be through us made known.  Let the cross be our glory and the Lord be our song.

Always Hope…In Christ,
